This spring at YogaSport we want you to choose “d) none of the above,” and redefine the number 21! Research shows that it takes 21 days to develop a habit. By creating a yoga habit, you’ll not only impact your own life but also the lives of those on the other side of the globe. Starting on Saturday, April 10th, commit to taking a total of 21 yoga classes in 30 days. Challenge yourself, reach out to others, and be in awe of what flourishes.

We will be donating the proceeds to a charity. Each P21 participant will vote for a charity of his/her choice and we will pick the winner at our kickoff class on Saturday, April 10th at 10:30am! All participants will also receive a P21 YogaSport t-shirt so please let us know your t-shirt size.

Learn how to safely navigate your way into, through, and out of a variety of arm balances and inversion postures, including headstand, handstand, crow, and forearm balance. Each pose will be broken into stages so that you can gain a better understanding of how to approach it mindfully and to what degree. This fun and playful workshop serves as a great refresher or a comprehensive introduction, and is highly recommended. baby_chatturanga If you are new to Baptiste Power Yoga and would like an instructional course to guide you through the fundamentals and alignment of the practice, our 4 week, 8 class Beginner Series Workshop is for you! Through demonstration, discussion, adjustments, and guided practice, we will provide you with a solid foundation of this dynamic style of yoga. You will begin to experience increased flexibility, strength, cardiovascular health, as well as a sense of well-being and relaxed awareness.

This is a perfect opportunity to take classes with other beginners, learn the basics, and get a solid foundation so you will feel confident attending any of our ongoing classes. This series is designed for students with no previous experience although current students are welcome to take the series as a refresher or to get more detailed instruction.

The series meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-9:15pm. Our last series sold out so do not wait to sign up! All students receive a copy of the book Journey into Power by Baron Baptiste.

What to Bring:

Please bring a yoga mat, large towel and water. If you do not have a yoga mat, we sell them in the studio. You can also rent a mat or towel and purchase water in the studio. "I gained a lot from my experience in the 40 Days Program this winter. Previous to the program, my life had been quite out of balance, and it felt as if my world was totally up-side-down. I had left a job where I had seniority and started at a new company for a better opportunity, better benefits and a raise, only to be laid off six months later. I also had a new mortgage that I was worried about considering my job-less state. Luckily I found a new job, but I was still really angry at the situation and life in general. To top it all off I was experiencing a lot of drama happening with my friends and family. I felt truly unbalanced. Rebecca told me about the 40 Day program, and I thought it was exactly what I needed.

The 40 Days taught me that I have to meet life on it's terms and not my own.
