If you are new to Baptiste Power Yoga and would like an instructional course to guide you through the fundamentals and alignment of the practice, our 4 week, 8 class Beginner Series Workshop is for you! Through demonstration, discussion, adjustments, and guided practice, we will provide you with a solid foundation of this dynamic style of yoga. You will begin to experience increased flexibility, strength, cardiovascular health, as well as a sense of well-being and relaxed awareness.
This is a perfect opportunity to take classes with other beginners, learn the basics, and get a solid foundation so you will feel confident attending any of our ongoing classes. This series is designed for students with no previous experience although current students are welcome to take the series as a refresher or to get more detailed instruction.
The series meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-9:15pm. This will sell out so do not wait to sign up! All students receive a copy of the book Journey into Power by Baron Baptiste.

EMPOWERED TEACHING: A Leadership and Mastery Teacher Training is a full weekend training where you will learn:

AcroYoga Workshop with Kristi

Join Dallas’ only Certified AcroYoga Instructor, Kristi Taylor, in an all levels, all ages, AcroYoga Community workshop. This workshop provides a safe environment to explore trust, connection and playfulness. The class will combine elements from Yoga, Acrobatics, and Thai Massage.
The workshop may include asana sequences, partner yoga, assisted inversions, basic partner acrobatics, therapeutic flying and Thai massage. After enjoying a sample of the many elements of the practice you will have first hand experience of AcroYoga. No yoga experience required. Come support and be supported.

The day will include a morning and afternoon asana practice, meditative walk, healthy lunch and more. Please bring walking shoes/socks, journal, pen, yoga mat, large towel/YogiToes (2 if you have them), water, change of yoga clothes, long sleeve shirt and a healthy snack. Straps, blocks and blankets are always provided by the studio.

Art of Assisting with Angela

(The Art of Assisting workshop is included in our 200 Hour Teacher Training Program. If you have registered for the 200 Hour Training, we will automatically enroll you in this weekend). This 20 hour program is an effective training for new or experienced teachers, aspiring teaching assistants or those who would simply like to deepen their knowledge of the Power Vinyasa Yoga practice. This program will allow you to engage in the method and practice of teaching Power Flow Yoga from an entirely different perspective. A good assist in class will guide students deeper into their practice, creating an awareness that may have taken years to cultivate.
Join YogaSport owner, Angela Wagner, as she starts you on a new yoga journey. Angela has been teaching Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga for over eight years and assists Baron at his Teacher Training Bootcamps and Personal Revolution Weekends.
In this program you will learn the principles of alignment, corrective and deepening hands-on adjustments and how to create effective interactions with students, inside and outside of the classroom. Upon successful completion of this 20 hour program, you will be eligible to apply for the YogaSport Teacher Assisting Program (TAP) and join our incredible team of assistants. RYT’s will earn 20 hours in continuing education credit upon successful completion of the program.

Please bring a yoga mat, large towel and water. If you do not have a yoga mat, we sell them in the studio. You can also rent a mat or towel and purchase water in the studio. "I absolutely LOVED the 40 days workshop. I learned so much and not just about the material in the book but about myself as well. The program and the people helped me to try some things I never would have tried on my own and I found them easier than I ever thought they would be! The two big hurdles for me were the meditation and fruit fast. The idea of sitting still for even 15 or 20 minutes just freaked me out. But I did it and I started to see the benefits of taking those moments to get more centered and focused. The group is another thing that you just can't put a price on, in my opinion. There was so much support throughout the whole process. Part of what I learned was that it's okay not to be perfect and we all celebrated our successes and empathized with our struggles together. As for the fruit fast, I really didn't think that I could eat nothing but fruit for 3 days - I mean COME ON! But I did it. I didn't even have Diet Coke which I never dreamed was possible. "I gained a lot from my experience in the 40 Days Program this winter. Previous to the program, my life had been quite out of balance, and it felt as if my world was totally up-side-down. I had left a job where I had seniority and started at a new company for a better opportunity, better benefits and a raise, only to be laid off six months later. I also had a new mortgage that I was worried about considering my job-less state. Luckily I found a new job, but I was still really angry at the situation and life in general. To top it all off I was experiencing a lot of drama happening with my friends and family. I felt truly unbalanced. Rebecca told me about the 40 Day program, and I thought it was exactly what I needed.
The 40 Days taught me that I have to meet life on it's terms and not my own. I also learnt I had to take care of my needs before I could take care of other's needs and realized that this is not selfishness but finding self. I have noticed now that there are some friends that are no longer truly friends and I am fine by that because those relationships were toxic. The biggest challenge for me now is in finding relationships that don't lead me to compromising who I am. For the first time in my life I am connected to my essence, and I actually like it.

"The lessons I have learned (in the 40 Days to Personal Revolution Program) have been revolutionary! I really feel like the program toned everything in my life: my body, my spirit, my relationships, my job. I learned to recognize my own needs, accept them, and take care of them.
